Fight 2 Win Delivers Another Exciting Card
In a fully packed house, Fight 2 win put on its 136th event this time in San Diego, CA home of some of the best Jiu-Jitsu fighters in the world. The card was stacked and poised to deliver an awesome night of Jiu-Jitsu Gi and Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi matches. See below for the results of the matches we highlighted last week:
Ron Henderson defeated Kristian Woodmansee in a Jiu-Jitsu Gi match for the 125lb black belt gi title. Henderson’s victory came via decision and made him the champion
Wilson Reis used a rear-naked choke on Adam Mazin to capture the victory in his 140lb Black Belt No-Gi match.
Eric Uresk took a narrow decision over Sergio Rios in an exciting Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi match at 180lbs.
At 145lb black belt Jiu-Jitsu Gi match, Kory Paredes defeated legend Bared Yoshida via decision.
Michael Liera scored a quick submission victory via RNC over Piter Frank in their black belt Jiu-Jitsu gi Match
Edwin Najmi walked away with the decision victory over Johnny Tama. Edwin threated Tama with a reverse triangle for a majority of the match, Tama freed himself from the submission with only seconds to spare.
In the co-main event, Jena Bishop took a 2-1 majority decision in her title defense against Gabbi McComb. The match featured some awesome armbar submission attacks and some heavy slams.
Kaynan Duarte squared off with Vinicius “Tractor” Ferriera. The action took part mostly on the feet with Duarte pulling guard a few times in an effort to get something going. The judges gave the decision to Duarte favoring his aggression and attacks on the feet.
