Vulkan Pro Light Gi Black Review

Shipping was fast, took 3 days to reach me here in Hawaii from date of purchase. Excellent check out process. The Gi: after 3 cold washes and being air dried, the gi has shrunk minimally, not even noticeable. The gi fits true to size. It's a joy to roll in, the top is very light weight, yet durable. The pants are very light aswell and has stood up to everyday training so far. Definitely will look at getting other colors.

      Vulkan Pro Lite Gi A3

This is my second Vulkan Pro Lite that I have purchased. I am 5'11" and weigh 1195 lbs and it fits very comfortably. It's extremely durable for it's light weight construction and have never shrunk in the dryer. Very satisfied.

great fitting gi, not so much shrinkage. it did fade after some washing, I recommend soaking it in vinegar for about an hour or so to keep in the colour.

      Excellent Gi

I own Shiroi, Koral and Vulkan gis Pros: - Excellent fit for bulky and broad-shouldered guys. At 6'3" and 230 lbs, the A3 fits beautifully. Vulkan and Koral gis are nearly identical, I have a Koral in A4 and it is too big. - Preshrunk. Little to no shrinkage. I wash and machine dry after every roll. - I'm not a patch fan and there're few on these kimonos. The chest and pant patches are easy to remove. I leave the shoulder patches because they look decent and are sewn into the collar. Cons: - I can't say much bad about this kimono however, since Koral and Vulkan are the same I will say that the pants on my Koral gi ripped after about 8 months (from the bottom of the leg up). I've had the Vulkan for longer than that now without any issues but who knows... I have a feeling it was just situational.
