After-sales and The Tank
They delivered the wrong gi pants size. But the after-sales department was very accommodating. They managed to exchange and provide a new set of gi. The problems i encountered with this gi are 1. the gi bag is dirty, and 2. there's a small out of place thread in the gi. About "The Tank," it will annoy my teammates due to its thickness, and I will cherish every moment of their annoyance. :P
This gi will last for years.
A4 fit perfect! 5 ft 10 225 I’m fairly thick though chest, back, shoulders. And wide. A little long. As was an a4 king bjj belt I ordered with. Pants length perfect. Waist a bit big but overall ok as I’ve big quads etc:joy:, which makes finding pants I can move in difficult. Can’t find any tactical pants which I can fully move in without the waist being way too big. Love the feel of this Gi. Hope long term it hold up and I feel the same. Will post updated review in 3 to 6 months.
Big Gis for big guys and those who want to get bigger.
BJJ Gis have been getting skimpier and less protective, all in order to reduce weight checking in for competitions. The Tatami tank reverses this trend. It is made for fighters and trainers who want a tough, thick Gl for working out. The tank is a godsend for those who grapple three to six times a week. The 3 colors are deep and handsome. I wish Tatami offered more colors.
Love this gi! Very duable. It was too big at first but after couple times of drying it shrank and fits perfectly now.
