Maeda Brand introduces its first lightweight competition gi with ripstop pants for women, the Yurei Women's Gi.

Inspired by the fearsome Japanese spirit figures which can pass easily between the worlds of the living and the dead, killing all within its path, and cannot be destroyed.

Featuring a pre-shrunk 500 GSM cotton Pearl Weave jacket and 8oz cotton/polyester ripstop pants, the Maeda Yurei Women's Gi is lightweight, yet durable enough for the toughest of training sessions. It also features NO-Grip sleeve technology (ripstop lining the inside of both sleeves) making it more difficult for your opponent to keep his or her grips on you, and patented Coolmax® lining across the inside of the shoulders and side vents of the jacket. Elegant and understated design elements, featuring a haunting swirl design. Now in a women's cut!

Bad ***

Nice Gi. Simple but cool. Doesn’t have goofy logos all over. Made very well. Good length on legs. Sleeves are a little long. I’m 5’8” got the f3. Going to enjoy wearing it for a long time!

This Gi is so great it looks epic on its heavier than my other Gi’s but I train in a winter state so it’s perfect
